Mini-lapped joinery of leg-system.

All of the self-standing frames feature a leg-system that is made of quartersawn oak so that the legs are as strong, stable, and as straight as possible. The legs are attached with 2-3mm wood pins which pass through the frame and legs at top. The tiny elements of joinery at the base of the legs requires a fair amount of precise cutting which is done on the table-saw. The legs of almost all frames fold into the frame with the thought/idea that these frames could potentially also be hung on a wall, but the current design is made to just stand using the frame and leg-system to rest on.
